IDFC Infrastructure Bonds Tranche-1 [2011-12 ]

IDFC is launching Infrastructure Bonds on November 21, 2011 under public issue of 2011 tranche 1 bonds of long term infrastructure bonds of face value of Rs. 5,000 each, in the nature of secured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures, having benefits under section 80CCF of the Income Tax act, 1961, not exceeding Rs. 5,000 Crore, to be issued at par on the terms contained in the Shelf Prospectus and this Prospectus – Tranche 1.

Issue of Tranche 1 Bonds: Public issue of first tranche of long term infrastructure bonds of face value of Rs. 5,000 each, in the nature of secured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures, having benefits under section 80CCF of the Income Tax act, 1961 (the “Tranche 1 Bonds”), not exceeding Rs. 50,000.0 million, to be issued at par on the terms contained in the Shelf Prospectus and this Prospectus – Tranche 1.
